A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Personal Assistant to join a hugely successful company with bases in Norfolk and on the south coast to assist the directors. The company operates in the leisure and travel industry and has twenty of its own centres, hotels and chateaux around Europe turning over in excess of £80m p.a. Staff numbers are seasonal by the nature of the business but are normally around 1,000 spread around the UK and Europe.
This is a new role and will not suit many people. You will be based in The Norwich
Office and work closely with the Managing Director while also supporting the other locally based directors including Finance, Marketing, Business Development and Sales (although each will have their lower level support within their departments.
The company is in partnership and partly owned by one of the world’s biggest banking corporations so there will be a need for contact and a working relationship with individuals within that corporation at a very high level.
The company has offices in Norwich and Brighton so there will be a need for travel between the two centres as well as occasional visits to the company’s centre around the UK and Europe.
The organisation runs on the generation of profits and therefore this senior level role can only be offered to an individual who has a track record of working in a very dynamic commercial organisation and be comfortable working at a senior level and making decisions in a fluid environment. It is essential that your background is commercial and that you have an absolute minimum of three years experience as a director’s PA in a fast-paced commercial environment. Keeping normal working hours will be something that other people do!
There is a starting salary of around £24,000 per annum plus benefits for the right person with the right background and commercial experience.
