Located in East Anglia we require a SHO in Anaesthetics. 48 hours per week, full rota with on calls. Commencing ASAP. Critical Care experience is essential. Attractive hourly rate of pay and accommodation available. We offer a generous choice of bonus for referral of friends.Hospital summaryThis is a forward thinking 495-bed district general hospital located on a 47-acre site two miles from the centre of town and serves a population in excess of 250,000.Their consultant team is made up as follows: Accident and Emergency, Anaesthetists, Breast surgeons, Cardiologists, Care of the Elderly physicians, Clinical haematologists, Chemical pathologists, Cytopathologists, Dermatologists, Ear Nose and Throat surgeons, General physicians, General surgeons, Genitourinary Physicians, Histopathologists, Maxillo Facial surgeons, Microbiologists, Neurologists, Obstetricians and gynaecologists, Occupational Health physicians, Oncologists, Ophthalmic surgeons, Orthodontic surgeons, Orthopaedic surgeons, Paediatricians, Radiologists, Rheumatologists and Urologists. In addition they have a renal dialysis unit, which is an outreach unit of the nephrology service. LocationKing\'s Lynn sits at the intersection of three major routes, giving good access to theMidlands, East Anglia and the South. Cambridge, Norwich and Peterborough can bereached in an hour and London King\'s Cross is only 1 hr 40 mins by rail. The WestNorfolk coast, much of which has been designated an Area of Outstanding NaturalBeauty, is only a few miles away.The catchment area covers a primarily rural area containing a number of market towns,namely: King\'s Lynn, Wisbech, Spalding, Downham Market, Swaffham, Fakenham andHunstanton. They also provide a number of outreach services to the community hospitals in Wells, Swaffham and Wisbech. The population profile includes a high proportion of older residents, many of whom have retired here to coastal communities from elsewhere. Significant growth is taking place at towns within the area, principally ofhousing developments attracting younger families.
