Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Great Yarmouth
Salary: GBP27,000-GBP30,000

• Formal engineering qualification essential. Degree level desirable.
• Minimum 2 years experience of manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years experience of RandD/Production interface.
• Demonstrable experience of ISO procedures essential. Auditor qualification desirable.
• Lean awareness essential, experience or Green belt qualification desirable.

Product Development:

Work with Designers at early stage of process to guide design in line with lean manufacturing principles.

In liaison with Designers, define component specification for suppliers.

Liaise with Suppliers to ensure brief is understood and appropriately met.

Be responsible for taking design process to development to successful implementation.

Attend Product Development meetings.

Chair Product Implementation meetings.

Play and active part in the Quality Management Team
