NORFOLK AND NORWICH MILLENNIUM LIBRARY
We are looking for lively, outgoing people to fill various posts at the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library which is now one of the busiest and most vibrant libraries in UK. All these posts require excellent communication skills and you must be proficient at using I.T. We aim to give excellent customer service so you must be able to demonstrate that you have recent experience of delivering quality customer service working in a face-to-face environment, serving a diverse range of customers.
Express and Security Library Assistant
£6.20 - £7.90 per hour
One part time post 10 hours per week. (Temporary post until March 31st 2009)
The 'Express' service is one of the main features of the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library offered while the main library is open and also outside those conventional library opening hours. We are looking for a lively, outgoing person to join the staff who is able to work on their own initiative or as part of as team. Knowledge of contemporary fiction, film and music will be an advantage
This post is worked over a 3-week rota (average 10 hours per week).
All part time staff are required to be flexible, as you may be called upon to cover staff absences due to sickness and holiday etc
