NORFOLK AND NORWICH MILLENNIUM LIBRARY
We are looking for lively, outgoing people to fill various posts at the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library, which is now one of the busiest and most vibrant libraries in UK. All these posts require excellent communication skills and you must be proficient at using I.T. We aim to give excellent customer service so you must be able to demonstrate that you have recent experience of delivering quality customer service working in a face-to-face environment, serving a diverse range of customers.
Library and Information Assistant, CSP08/1359
£6.20 – £7.90 per hour
First Floor Team,
One part time post 32 hours per week (Temporary until March 31st 2009)
This post will include some evening work until 8.00pm, (probably every Wednesday) and Saturday working.
The main tasks will be answering customer enquiries (including I.T. queries), promoting reader development through our large and varied book stock (as well as Spoken Word, DVDs and CDs), and maintaining the stock including the physically demanding task of shelving.
All part time staff are required to be flexible, as you may be called upon to cover staff absences due to sickness and holiday etc.
