We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to train as a professional finance manager, with the potential to reach the highest levels.
You will be a graduate, with well developed interpersonal skills, and analytical and problem-solving ability. We are seeking a creative thinker, capable of conveying complex concepts in accessible written and verbal language. You will also have skills working with modern IT applications.
In return we can offer you a starting salary of approx. £19,000, rising with experience, generous support with your study, alongside senior level mentoring and a wide range of assignments across the County Council.
Corporate Finance is at the heart of the Council’s activities in delivering change, whilst ensuring that financial control is maintained. Building on strong relationships between Corporate Finance and the finance teams in service departments such as Children’s services, Adult Social services and Planning & Transportation to deliver better financial services across the Council.
