Teacher MPS + 1 SEN
Full time, permanent, required from April 2009 or earlier if possible.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our school, which has just recently been awarded Specialist School Status in Communication and Interaction. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible teacher. Experience of working with children with special needs is desirable but applications will be welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified teachers. The post will require an ability to engage and motivate our pupils to reach their full potential, as well as being able to work well within a team.
The position will be offered at Main Scale + 1 SEN points with an additional point for relevant experience.
Hall School is situated within a woodland environment of the north side of Norwich near to the airport. We cater for children (aged 3 - 19) with severe learning difficulties, many of who have associated medical, sensory, physical and other difficulties including autism and challenging behaviours. Inclusion is important to us; we work very closely with mainstream school both for group work and individual placements, as well as outreach support and dual registrations.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Hall School actively supports equality of opportunity.
This authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
