Full Description:

Main purpose of this role is to provide a high volume, employment focused service to job-seekers in order to improve their employability ad placing them into suitable employment.

Reporting to the Area Employment Manager you will undertake work focused interviews with job-seekers in order to provide direction, encourage them to apply for specific job opportunities at every stage and coordinating activities which will ensure progression into suitable employment.

You will need to develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the local labour market, current benefits systems and entitlements, programme provisions of relevant agencies and opportunities relating to employment access. You will also proactively market the service of the company to employers and local organisations.

Suitable applicants will have previous experience in the employment, recruitment or training field. You will also have the ability to encourage, persuade and motivate at all levels and have good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Salary is between £20 and £22,000PA and the hours are 36.5 per week. The company gives 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays and additional days between Christmas and New Year when the company is closed for business. There is also a pension, health insurance and other flexible benefits following the six month probation period.
