Residential Team Manager
Garfield House, Dereham
£33,633 - £37,341 per annum
A creative, enthusiastic and innovative Manager is required for one of Norfolk County Councils residential homes. Norfolk has a long and established commitment to children’s residential services. An opportunity has arisen for a Residential Manager for one of our medium/long term children’s homes, who is motivated to share in the development of our residential sector.
Garfield Children’s Home is located in Dereham, which is in the centre of Norfolk and is home to 6 young people with ages ranging from 13 to 17 years. You will need to be experienced in staff management with the ability to motivate an established team of Child Care Practitioners, qualified to Ofsted standards. You will promote a high standard of care to meet the five outcomes, ensuring the quality and development of our Service to the Young People we care for.
Experience of residential childcare and a sound knowledge of childcare practice and legalisation are essential. You will need to have a professional qualification either Registered Managers (care and management) Dip SW, CQSW, CSS and substantial relevant experience of child care work (including at least 2 years post-qualification).
