A position has become available for a PROPERTY INSURANCE HANDLER for one of the counties leading insurance company.
Your role will be to handle all aspects of Landlords insurances and to maintain a practical working system for handing Landlords insurance.
Your main duties include:
1 To provide clients with immediate advice on Landlords insurances.
2 To ensure that all enquiries are dealt with promptly and to chase insurers as and when needed.
3 To keep the client fully informed of progress at all times, which may involve negotiation with the client/insurers or third party.
4 To assist with the control of the debtors’ list.
5 Ad hoc duties as and when asked by the section head or manager.
6 To promote the company whenever possible.
Skills required include:
1 Detailed knowledge of Landlords insurances.
2 Working knowledge of other insurance policies and principles.
3 Ability to meet deadlines and individual/team goals.
4 Resourcefulness to find answer/interpret policy wordings if answer not immediately apparent.
5 Must have excellent communication skills and be able to gain the trust of the client.
We are seeking someone with experience of brokers systems and practices (e.g. underwriting, claims, accounts, etc.) and an understanding of insurers practice and procedures.
