A very exciting position has become available for a DEVELOPER to join the team of a very successful company based in Norwich.
Purpose of the role:
To develop new and maintain existing software applications, websites and databases in support of the achievement of business requirements.
Key responsibilities/accountabilities includes:
1. Design and development of software programs and applications in order to deliver solutions as required to achieve project goals.
2. Maintenance of software to support the smooth running of production systems.
3. Lead project and support activities up to 3 months in duration.
4. Production and maintenance of documentation of plans, designs, software specifications and testing throughout the development lifecycle and to reflect production systems.
Technical experience -
Technically you will not only be proficient in the use .NET programming languages such as VB.Net , ASP.NET but also with SQL database development, stored procedures and the web and associated technologies such as XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, AJAX and Web 2.0.
Knowledge of objected-orientated design, component development and n-Tier architecture is desirable. Experience of cross browser CSS, accessibility and usability would also be a distinct advantage.
