    A prestigious establishment requires a full time Sales manager. The position will be reporting to the General Manager and dealing with the day to day sales and events of the centre. Working a 40 hour week, duties will include;

    • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls
    and emails.
    • Visit potential customers to prospect for new business.
    • Developing & nurturing new business leads.
    • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
    • Negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers.
    • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
    • Organisation and attendance of all corporate entertaining.
    • Gather market and customer information.
    • Attending fairs / trade shows where appropriate.
    • Carrying out mail shots and e-mail shots.
    • Gain a clear understanding of customers' requirements.
    • Make accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations.
    • Carrying out research calls / Internet research.
    • Attendance of appropriate internal meetings.
    • Log detailed sales records.
    • Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
    • Setting budgets/targets with the General Manager and Managing Director.
    The successful applicant will have previous experience within sales and ideally within leisure and hospitality. They will also be highly organised, be able to work well under pressure and individually. The post-holder must be able to communicate with people at all levels and be able to work outside of normal office hours as required as some weekends and evening work will be required as well as working. Excellent literacy and numerical skills are essential.
    Salary is circa £20,000 PA +commission and an excellent benefits package.
