    Salary: Up to £16,000 - £18,000 OTE up to £35,000

    THE COMPANY
    Established for over 20 years and working within the corporate and public sectors, this organisation is home to specialists within the IT industry and provides expert advice to a broad range of Clients.

    ROLE OVERVIEW
    Responsible for pro-actively building & maintaining a sales territory through partners across vertical market sectors. Achieve & exceed monthly sales targets by selling a broad range of software products.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    *Be able to influence partners to sell software to end customers
    *Build and maintain relationships with existing partners
    *Profile and identify new prospect partners to grow your account base
    *Achieve sales target by maximising opportunities with your account base
    *Through prospecting achieve new business sales targets
    *Grow existing partners to maximise their customer base
    *Achieve Key Performance Indicators as agreed with your manager, which are reviewed on a monthly basis
    *Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets as agreed by your manager
    *Maintain a 3 month rolling forecast and build a long range pipe line of opportunities
    *Managed your critical deals on a daily basis until you close the business
    *Maintain and update the CRM system with your activity daily and ensure customer records are kept up to date
    *Be a licensing expert and be fully conversant with software licensing schemes
    *Pass MLSS& MLSE exams with in 3 months of joining
    *Pass MCP & SAM exams with in 12 months of joining
    *Provide your partners with expert advice, best value and world class customer service
    *Work to agreed service level agreements between the company and your partners
    *Work with Marketing & Alliances to identify new business opportunities and help run campaigns with your partners
    *Actively participate in 1:1's with your manager on a weekly/monthly basis
    *Report forecast and activity on a daily basis to your manager

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
    *An understanding or experience of working with and selling through partners
    *An understanding of telephone sales techniques and how to use them in a variety of situations
    *An understanding of the sales process and partner buying cycles
    *Experienced in a target driven environment and understand the importance of working with targets to achieve results
    *An awareness of the IT Software Market, including history, competitive landscape and hot topics
    *A broad understanding of IT infrastructure in general

    *Basic Salary - £16,000 - £18,000
    *OTE uncapped commission £30,000 - £35,000
